Hi! I’m Leta—the owner, maker, and heart behind Southern Glow Co.

Southern Glow began with a simple goal: to create cleaner candles that were free from overwhelming fragrances and unnecessary ingredients. What started as a personal search for products I felt good about using in my home quickly became a leap of faith and a dream turned into reality.

Every candle, soap, and product is handcrafted by me in my small home studio in Athens, Georgia. There isn’t a large team behind Southern Glow Co.—just me and my biggest supporter, my husband, who encouraged me to chase this dream from the very beginning. That’s why every order and every customer mean more to me than I can ever express.

At Southern Glow Co., I believe beautiful products should also be thoughtfully made. My candles are hand-poured using soy wax and premium cotton wicks that are made in the USA, ethically sourced, and free from lead and zinc. They are designed to burn cleanly while adding a touch of Southern charm and warmth to your home.

That same commitment to quality extends to my soaps. My bar soaps are crafted in small batches with simple, organic, skin-loving ingredients gentle enough for even sensitive skin. My soaps are completely palm oil-free to support more sustainable practices.

As someone who has struggled with eczema, I understand how important it is to know exactly what you’re putting on your skin. I created these soaps to be nourishing, gentle, and free from unnecessary extras—and they’ve become products I genuinely love using every day.
